This week I’m grateful that I wasn’t at a midnight showing of Batman last night. My thoughts and prayers are with the people in Aurora affected by the shooting. That the alleged shooter was an undergrad at the campus where my husband works is all the more blood chilling for me.
I am grateful for the little farmer’s market that opened up this summer in my neighborhood, and to the very local farmers who come to share their goods with us.
I am grateful for good food and good company, especially while on a Farmer’s Market tour and cooking class with Kitchen Coach Mary Collette Rogers.
And I am grateful for my beautiful daughter who teaches me patience and joy every single day.
What are you grateful for this week?
I am soooo grateful for the fact that all those family dinners turned out to be as important to you as they were to me! 🙂 Honest – as you know by now, a year and some into motherhood, you you never really can do more than hope you are doing the best thing you can for your family when you set up rules. Seems like it kinda paid off bigtime for all of us, but especially for ME since I wouldn’t trade a dinner that we all shared.
Me too, mama!! 🙂
