Tip: Use Painters Tape to Label Leftovers and Pantry Items

I was a little hesitant to post this tip, because I thought I was the only crazy person who did this—until I attended a cooking class at a fancy local restaurant recently and saw that they do the EXACT SAME THING:

Use blue painter’s tape to label your leftovers, freezer containers, and jars of beans and grains in the pantry.

Why?

• It sticks to everything.
• More importantly, it comes OFF everything.
• It’s cheap.
• It’s easy to write on.
• It’s BOLD and easy to read.

BOOM.  I just organized your pantry, didn’t I?  ;)
